With the battle for the democratic candidature waging on, it is natural for some candidates to come to terms with the fact that they have no path to the precidency. For some like Andrew Yang this was a hard pill to swallow but he managed to take it well and announce to his supporters that he was done for now. But for others that were promised much more by the heads of the DNC and pushed into the public by the mainstream media this is a sinking ship that will not go down alone. One such candidate is Elizabeth Warren who's entire premise relied on "I'm just like Bernie, but woman" and eventually deteriorated more and more, leaving key policies such as debt forgiveness and Medicare for All behind until all that was left was "I am a woman." This message was amplified during the last democratic debates prior to the Iowa Caucus, in which she attempted to accuse Sanders of being a sexist in an attempt to gain momentum prior to the caucus, this clearly backfired and only won her the nickname "Lyin Liz." So it was no surprise when right after Sanders victory in New Hampshire she held a press release in which she accused Sanders supporters of being divisive and hostile to the other candidates. This is all during a primary to determine who will run against Trump. You simply cannot make this stuff up.

With the Iowa caucus coming to an unclear official conclusion only one thing is clear, the battle for the democratic candidature is now between Sanders and Buttigeg, but an even number of combatants does not mean an even playing field and the Iowa Caucus itself should be a resonating message to the Bernie movement that Buttigeg is more than willing to nibble his way into a humiliating defeat against Trump, no matter how many holes he has to climb through. The events around the Iowa Caucus have stained the Buttigeg campaign with coat of distrust and corruption, but before these are listed out one thing has to be made clear, Sanders won and has the right to claim he did, with a six thousand vote lead over the Boy Mayor in a world that made sense this would not be disputed. And yet, the media conglomerates still have the audacity to claim that Sanders is “claiming” to be the winner while overlooking Buttigeg’s victory tweets hours prior to the results being released through a shadowy app. The company that developed the app, Shadow, has a good amount of reasons to carry such a cartoonishly suspicious name, with their CEO’s husband serving Buttigeg’s campaign as an advisor, but that wouldnt be the only direct tie to the “incompetent” former Hillary staffers (Oh right, I forgot to add that, the developers were former staffers of the 2016 Hillary campaign), Pete also directly paid Shadow fourty two thousand dollars for “software rights and subscriptions.” At the end of the day, this is a clear violation of American democracy that luckily did not fly over the American people.
